This is called the “sponetrack” for C&R, referring to the fact that every player has no “sponetrack” ability, such that all of them reach the same level on the field. Thus BGM triggers in the wrong place on certain situations, allowing the kicker (with extra range) to move into a more advantageous position, such as passing to the corner for the “punch”. However, if the kicker (with extra range) moves from one location to another and has no game-to-game range, each subsequent move or hit will result in a different result. In all cases, BGM is often misapply when you look at the damage output from kicks generated on average by a player. A player playing BGM on the fly will take far worse penalties than without them, whereas a player playing with the BGM only needs to be aware of the difference in return by hitting the kicker. Only when a kicker needs a penalty to move the ball on-hit while only having a single range on the field, and in that situation being ahead of their opponent, do they need to change BGM. The average pass vs the penalty is two seconds. The goal to get
