With all the buzz about next year’s announcement of Google’s newest iteration of Matlab, there’s an increasing sense that Google, with the help of its own education software, is well within its rights to deliver a higher-quality, more granular, and consistent environment for public labs like this with respect to their developers. At Google, we’ve always been open about the need to keep future projects in a community among its user base, and keeping it that way has always been the goal. The announcement can give us insight into that desire that has made up so many of the excitement around automation.

To help the Matlab community, Google has been gathering information from around the Web about the challenges, challenges, and challenges we face today in lab practice with respect to developing excellent software for the next generation of humans.
